Like moths to a flame
on
hot
summer days
we are drawn to the sound of water...
... the gentle trickle and splash
is a magnet ...
... a promise of cool delight
... a welcome reprieve
from those lazy
hazy
days
of summer!
Hi Francesca, what a scorcher today- so hot here it was even too hot to go to the beach! We hid inside our cool house and played board games, read, looked at blogs, watched cartoons with the kids and attempted a 1000 piece jigsaw, then at 5pm ran outside and hosed eachother and stood under the outdoor shower- bliss- then fish and chips for dinner as it was too hot to cook. Don't you just love it here! xxCorrina.

DeleteWhat a wonderful break from sitting in front of the fireplace remarking on how cold it is outside and watching the rainfall, wondering when it might become snowflakes. . .
