Hi Francesca, what a scorcher today- so hot here it was even too hot to go to the beach! We hid inside our cool house and played board games, read, looked at blogs, watched cartoons with the kids and attempted a 1000 piece jigsaw, then at 5pm ran outside and hosed eachother and stood under the outdoor shower- bliss- then fish and chips for dinner as it was too hot to cook. Don't you just love it here! xxCorrina.
The best way to handle the heat Corrina - I have just watered the garden and opened up the house and it's amazingly cool - good luck over the next couple of days as we get hotter. Keep Cool! F xx
What a wonderful break from sitting in front of the fireplace remarking on how cold it is outside and watching the rainfall, wondering when it might become snowflakes. . .
We are in for a shocking couple of days with scorchers on their way! Actually not so sorry I am going back to work tomorrow - at least the office is air-conditioned! Keep warm as we try and keep cool! F xx
Thanks for sharing such fresh photos of summer. When winters comes i miss for warm summers. Your blog is really nice and i share almost same interests. I am your blog new follower.
Poor you - shall send you some cool French air and misty days - how about you send us some of your warmth? Hope the heat wave isn't going to last too long. Love
