Fire in the sky

She slowly began to slide into the blue grey seas

.... occasionally glimpsing through wispy blinds

.... before settling into clouds of lilac.

Then unexpectedly, she spoke of fire

.... of vast pinks and orange striations over now wine dark seas

.... of burnished sunset hues 

.... before she softened the day

and quietly left the world in a reflected purple haze ....

The sun had finally set over Bali
